1 Year Full-Time · Postgraduate

Awarded by Medhavi Skills University

  • Complete the application form at apply.future-school.in. Takes about 10 minutes. You’ll need a valid email address and phone number.

  • Video Statement of Purpose (2–3 minutes)

Cover three things in your video: your musical background — training, instruments, genres, how long you’ve been practising; your experience in music education, formal or informal (school, private tuition, workshops, community programs); and what you specifically want to do with this qualification. If you’re a practising musician moving into teaching, tell us that story. If you’re already teaching and want to deepen your practice, tell us that one.

  • Supporting Evidence (Optional but Weighted)

If you have any of the following, include a link in your application: certificates of any formal music training, a letter from a current institution or employer, any clips/achievements demonstrating musical proficiency. This is not mandatory but strong supporting material meaningfully strengthens your application and gives the academic team context regarding your fitment into the program.

  • Interview with the Academic Team

A substantive conversation about your musical background and your vision for music education. Expect questions about how you’d approach teaching a specific concept, how you handle a struggling student, or your thoughts on the current music education landscape. The interview is aimed at understanding how you think about teaching.

  • Offer Letter + Seat Confirmation

If selected, you will receive your offer letter to your registered email address. Secure your seat with a non-refundable ₹25,000 registration fee within 5 calendar days. Balance fee to be paid as per the timelines stated in the offer letter.

Exploring multiple programs? Here’s a side-by-side view of what each requires.

Program Who’s Applying What You’ll Need Interview Prep
B.Voc Music Production Class 12 pass (any stream). No music experience needed. Video SoP (2–3 min) + Portfolio (optional, 2–3 pieces) What you listen to and why, an artist or producer whose work has shaped you, what you think makes a good track (beyond technical execution), and what you want to be doing 5 years from now. No technical knowledge required — we’re listening for taste, self-awareness, and genuine motivation.
Diploma Live Sound Engineering Class 12 pass (any stream). No technical background needed. Video SoP (2–3 min) + Prior Experience with sound (optional) A live event you’ve attended that moved you, why you want to be on the other side of the console, and what you know (or want to know) about how live sound works. Keep it honest — enthusiasm and curiosity matter more than knowing the right terminology.
PG Diploma Music Education Graduate degree (any). Prior music training or teaching expected. Video SoP (2–3 min) + Supporting evidence (optional: formal music training certificates, teaching experience letter) Your musical training and how long you’ve been practising, a teaching experience that challenged or shaped you, how you’d approach a student who’s technically capable but losing motivation, and how you’d describe your own philosophy of music education — what do students need that most programmes don’t prioritise? Understand your motivation and how you think is the goal, don’t just prepare for the “perfect” answers.

—Coming From Outside Goa?

We Have
Got You

We don’t have on-campus housing, but we won’t leave you to figure it out alone. Our team connects outstation students with vetted local brokers, walks you through the housing process, and stays available for any settling-in questions — academic, personal, or logistical.

And then there’s Goa itself. It’s warm, welcoming, and genuinely inspiring for artists. Students who’ve relocated here tell us it feels less like moving to a new city and more like finding their people.
