Program Structure
Two intensive semesters | 20 credits each
Semester 1 (20 Credits)
Semester 1 establishes foundational expertise through four core areas:
- ME411 – Foundations of Music Learning and Pedagogy (4 credits)
Examines cognitive science research and developmental psychology as they apply to musical learning across the lifespan. - ME412 – Curriculum Design, Instructional Planning, and Program Management (4 credits)
Develop cross-discipline teaching competencies through use of backward design methodology and standards-based curriculum development. - ME413 – Assessment, Evaluation, and Data-Driven Decision Making (4 credits)
Introduces advanced measurement theory and authentic assessment strategies for dexterity in a variety of teaching contexts. - ME414 – Teaching Practice I – Pedagogical Foundations and Professional Development (8 credits)
Provides substantial supervised classroom experience with systematic reflective practice at an institute of your choice.
Semester 2 (20 Credits):
Semester 2 advances professional capabilities through
- ME421 – Digital Pedagogy & Music Technology Innovations (4 credits)
Develop expertise in educational technology, incorporating AI and various music & teach software in the classroom. - ME422 – Inclusive Education & Culturally Responsive Teaching (4 credits)
Inculcate equity and diversity in music pedagogy using universal curriculum design principle to adapt teaching across age, experiences & cultures. - ME423 – Research & Evidence-Based Practice in Music Education (4 credits)
Focuses on establishing competencies in action research and systematic inquiry in real teaching scenarios. - ME424 – Teaching Practice II – Advanced Pedagogy and Classroom Leadership (8 credits)
Provides extended mentored teaching experience with increasing professional responsibility over Teaching Practice I.

FAQ’s
Is there any age restriction for admission?
There is no lower or upper age limit for enrolment, however you must, at minimum, have completed a Bachelor’s Degree.
How much of the program is online & offline?/Can I do the program fully online/offline?
This program is delivered as ‘hybrid’, meaning that 80% of your classes will be conducted online, whereas the remaining 20% (i.e. – Group activities & examinations) will require you to come to our campus in Goa.
Note: If you elect to complete your teaching practice at Future School, you will be required to conduct classes in-person from our campus.
Do you provide placements/internships?
Graduates of the program with a CGPA of 8.0 and above will be provided placement assistance. Separately, the curriculum includes 320+ hours of teaching practice which can be conducted either at Future School or an institute of your choice.
Can I pay fees in instalments?
Fees are due in full after you are issued admission with us on a pre-determined date. Limited payment plans may be available in special circumstances. Please contact our admissions team for more information.
